Adding some LEDs to engraved acrylic is an awesome way to give some details to your props.
Laser guide said to only use the laser cutter for natural materials.
I mostly use the vacuum former for cosplay props, but today I used it for something practical: a teeth whitening tray from a dental model of my teeth!
Building a prop with a $20 build and crap from the Dollar Store.
I won't be quitting my day job to become a Blacksmith! I learned how to use the forge at Dallas Makerspace. It took me 3 hours to create 2 points and shape the iron into a "S" hook.
The best thing about makers is you can go to any country & still speak the same language.
I backed the Glowforge laser almost 2 years ago, it's been a long time to wait.
